Personal brand = new relationships

Don't leave opportunities on the table

People buy from people and businesses they trust.

That’s why building a personal brand can be so incredibly valuable.

It helps build credibility and attract new opportunities.

It doesn’t require you to have millions of followers or viral content.

You just need to be visible, consistent, and authentic.

When people know who you are, what you stand for, and how you can help them.

It enables you to attract the right eyes to your business.

Especially if you are starting from the point of a limited network and resources.

Here’s how to make your brand work for you.

Tell your story

Stories are human and people resonate with them.

Why you started, the challenges you’ve faced, and what you’ve learned.

These things make you relatable and authentic.

Sharing your experiences builds trust.

Which helps you establish yourself as someone worth listening to.

Be transparent about your wins.

Perhaps more importantly, be transparent about your failure.

When people see your authenticity, they buy into you as much as your
product or service.

Which is valuable now and into the future.

Be consistent

A strong personal brand isn’t built overnight.

It’s built through consistency.

Pick a platform. Ideally where your target audience lives.

And start posting regularly.

You don’t have to be everywhere, especially not all at once.

Start and show up often.

You will always figure it out as you go along.

Be a person

You'll be surprised how many people don't do this...

But social media is about being social.

It is important to engage with other creators.

Especially in the beginning.

  • Leave insightful comments.

  • Find creators you like and follow.

  • Engage genuinely

Doing so can help you build some very valuable relationships.

Creating a personal brand isn't selfish or self-indulgent.

It’s about creating trust, providing value, and building relationships at scale.

If you’re not leveraging social media to establish a presence for yourself.

There could be opportunities you are leaving on the table.

However, the biggest thing you can do now is to start posting.

It could be anything, just start doing it.

I promise you will figure it out as you go along.

That being said…
